A Christmas Dream

Yes that’s exactly what Mr & Mrs Ellis’ Christmas Wedding in December was. Magical perfection! The great thing about this time of year, although cold and not as sunny… It’s all cosy, rustic and the colour schemes are to die for! Every season has it’s perks - you just have to choose which ones you love the most!

Mr & Mrs Ellis’ Wedding (Chloe + Sam from here on in) was held at the rustic ‘Crooked Barn’ at Ivy House Country Hotel in Lowestoft, Suffolk. A converted barn full of wooden beams, fairy lights and on this occasion, a REAL CHRISTMAS TREE! It was beautiful:

Here you can see Chloe’s Grandad walk her down the aisle and there’s not a face in this photo without a smile! Chloe used Lynsey from Dear Luna Florals as her Florist and just take a look at the gorgeous Bridal Bouquet with that subtle touch of Christmas in the form of golds:

The day began as it meant to go on… Full of laughter!

I mean we all know too well the giggles as the rings never seem to go on under pressure! Followed by the belly laughter after ‘speak now or forever hold your peace…’ (Or words to that effect!) But this Ceremony was something different, Sam + Chloe made the room warm and comfortable for everyone and there was no doubt these two were made for one another.

A Wedding at any time of year is an unforgettable event in history, but to do it at Christmas, well, it was a first for me and one I hope to repeat! It was so magical and a perfect way to begin the festivities. I also managed to do my quickest ever edit turn around due to it being quiet season!
